LAB ATHENS / LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE BUILDING

Lab Athens is a dynamic design studio based in Athens, Greece. Founded in 2009 by architects Ilias Pantos and Aris Efthymiadis, the studio has been exclusively led by Ilias Pantos since 2016. Our work spans architectural design, interiors, and landscape architecture, covering a wide range of projects in the private sector.

At Lab Athens, every project is a creative challenge: we aim to balance the client’s requirements with innovative form and function. Our goal is to design and realize buildings that are simple, functional, socially responsible, and visually engaging.

OWNER

Ilias Pantos, Architect AUTH, MFA UCL

Ilias Pantos studied architecture at the University of Thessaloniki and at University College London, where he majored in Mixed Media, Film, and Photography at the Slade School of Fine Art. He worked in London from 1991 to 1993, and between 1995 and 2006 he collaborated with several leading architectural offices in Athens and Saudi Arabia on a wide range of projects, including housing, office spaces, hospitals, commercial buildings, and the Athens 2004 Olympic Games Headquarters.

Since 2006, he has worked as a freelance architect, specializing in hospitality, private housing, and commercial projects. Over the course of more than 30 years, he has contributed to over 250 projects, combining technical expertise with creative design.
