Just under the Monastery of Agios Antonios and facing north – the plot combined a great number of challenges that needed a delicate approach. The strong element of the monastery above, was carried into the house both in layout and design concept. The enclosed entrance court – the longitude axes of the house cutting into the slope and the corridor leading to the monastery at the other end, were all part of this intention. Our aim was to interrupt the environment as little as possible – and to integrate the volumes to the maximum. The house covers an area of 150 M2 in one level. Design in collaboration with Diederik Van Rengen : 2019 - 2020
